Over the years we see that that natural resources alone does not create prosperity. Turning resources in the ground into national wealth requires infrastructure, investment, transparent governance, and policies that ensure citizens-not just corporations or foreign investors-benefit from the profits.
Many resource-rich countries have struggled to translate massive discoveries into long-term economic growth.
The real story isn't about finding resources-it's about who ultimately benefits from it.
We hope this will become a blueprint for economic transformation, and not another example of the resource misuse that has challenged nations before.
The Director of EDMAR first travelled from Europe to Mali in late 2011 and has been there for the Malians ever since, meeting a broad spectrum of individuals. The purpose of this corporation is to create opportunities that help communities grow, improve, ultimately making people’s lives better using the national wealth to:
Provide resources, programs, jobs, funding, or support, VIA government viable projects.
Strengthen neighborhoods, local businesses, infrastructure, or social programs.
Improving the quality of life — financially, socially, or through services.
We first visited Mali in 2012 and ever since felt a strong bond within the community, which was the beginning of our friendship.

Our mission is to ensure exceptional service, trust and transparency in every transaction.
We have privately financed helped many individuals and families in the community. From helping with costs of health care, education, housing, cost of driving lessons and contributing to new local business . We are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done.
One of the most touching story is, see the pictures below, we visited a place of worship in the Dogon country in around 2014. It was built from traditional mud. The local members poured all they could into building a new building and over many years they could not carry on. We finished it in December 2025.
